Opening the Flood Gates for Wearable Technology
Researchers from multiple different universities and labs are working on creating a sort of guide for future projects that are centered around wearable technology. As technology advances, we continue to make things easier, faster, and more useful, and wearable technology has the potential to be the optimal combination of all of these things. The difficulty with putting your tech into clothes and on people’s bodies is that if it isn’t comfortable or doesn’t blend in, then it doesn’t provide enough unique benefits over what we currently have to be a worthwhile investment for consumers. However, a lot of these difficulties are identical across every piece of wearable technology, so what these researchers intend to do is solve these problems for no specific project, but rather for the purpose of opening the gates so that many others can bring their projects into reality.
