The Biomimetic Millisystems Lab performs research to improve millirobot capabilities and harness bioinspired principles, as well as aspects of animal manipulation and locomotion of the animals the robots emulate. An example of a recent research project at the Lab is the “OpenRoACH: A Durable Open-Source Hexapedal Platform with Onboard Robot Operating System (ROS)”.
