Denali Therapeutics Biology Discovery Internship
Denali is seeking a motivated graduate student or postdoctoral fellow for an internship position in the Biology Discovery group to gain meaningful research experience in microglial biology. This is a hands-on laboratory position with abundant opportunity for collaboration with other researchers in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will support high priority projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn new research techniques and apply these methods to elucidate mechanisms of microglial dysfunction in Alzheimer’s disease as part of their internship curriculum. This individual will perform hands-on experiments (such as cell culture and isolation, functional studies including microscopy, qPCR, mitochondrial assays, cytokine analysis, etc.), interpret and present their research findings to the internal team. The intern must be self-driven, organized, collaborative and able to communicate clearly and thrive in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.
