Peptide-mediated interactions, biological systems, new discoveries and applications
This article is about Peptide Mediated interactions. It reviews the biological system as well as new discoveries that have been made. In essence, what I learned throughout this article is that proteins are very important for the cellular machinery and are participating in most functions within the cell. Proteins are modular, consisting of discrete globular units of structure called domains. The dogma until recently was that the function of proteins can be well understood as the sum of these units. However, protein function can be understood via the structures of discrete globular segments as well.
