Special film for everyday technology developed – inspired by biology in nature
Classified as a form of bio manufacturing, this new film was designed based on biology in nature and will be used in everyday technology such as TVs, laptops, and smartphones starting this year. It was created through the natural fermentation of substances, similar to the natural process used to make bread and beer. Hyaline (the company) has demonstrated that they can “re-imagine how materials are designed and manufactured with biology” and they’re showing that they can deliver incredible new products that outperform competing materials.
