News, Organic memory devices show promise for flexible, wearable, personalized computing
Artificial Intelligence datasets are often massive and raise a lot of concerns with how efficient it is as it takes up a lot of energy and resources. However, researchers at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science are taking inspirations from nature to tackle the issue. It is widely known that the brain is a very powerful tool with its computation power being exponentially more powerful than the most powerful chipsets. With this in mind, researchers are attempting to make organic memristors which are computation devices that are functionally analogous to the Brain’s neurons to serve as a more efficient computing systems to handle AI datasets.
