These researchers outline the cleaning habits of honeybees via multiple trials that display how particular mechanisms of interaction between arm and leg hairs allow for bees to clean themselves. This is particularly interesting as it proves a connection between hair length and the cleaning potential of a certain arm, and the manners that that can be applied for the development of cleaning products. Researchers prove that certain ratios allow for the greatest degree of bee eye and bodily cleaning.
