The Biodesign Challenge (BDC) is a university competition that offers art and design students the opportunity to envision future applications of biotechnology. At the end of the year, each university chooses one team to showcase its project at the BDC Summit at MoMA in New York City. BDC is a program of Genspace, the world’s first community biolab. Genspace is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting science literacy through citizen access to biotechnology.
